To me the ideal edition of the NFGT car so far because it is the lightest version. I never used my radio in my 2005 because I wanna hear the engine, A/C broken since 2 years, can live with it...

The official Press release says "Similarly, the bulkhead Gorilla Glass® behind the driver is about half as thick – and lighter – as on other models. " . It was stated that all the glass on the base GT was Gorilla Glass.. Has this changed? Or are they making an even thinner glass for The Comp version ?? Or did they take the Goriila glass out of the base model ?

Gorilla Glass is only used on the windshield and rear engine cover, not ALL glass.

Ummm sorry I said " all glass " we established along time ago it was to be used in 3 places . I should have said all previously mentioned Gorilla glass Locations.. Was implied the base GT would have it in all 3 locations. Per that quote It now sounds like only the Comp model get the mid glass.. ??

.. It was first stated being used in (3) Places . windshield, Mid glass and hatch glass.. a while ago.. don't take my word for it... :biggrin

Has it stopped raining since the Rolex 24???? Jeez this is a rainy year. On both coasts.

Actually, the Florida peninsula is abnormally dry to moderate drought. We've only had 4-5 days with measurable rain since October. Just so happens the rain coincides with race days. :lol

Forget the minor weight savings, an SVT off road tune would be nice, say 30 psi and 300 more rpm.

Just rig up some portable speakers for your phone. I almost never use the AC even in the summer in Houston, and really just run it few minutes each drive to keep the seals conditioned. Bring on the Competition Series.

The stripe/no stripe decision was creating havoc in my house. Now me and my son are at odds over the Comp car. Thanks Ford. :lol

You've got to take into account ambient temps, the engine literally right behind you, and a small cockpit through which very little air moves. It's going to be...hot.

If you zoom in on the press photos you can see an Akrapovic logo on the ti exhaust. Wonder if this is specific to the competition model.
