Great book

I may be a little late to the party and this is old news, but just got a copy of a great reference book for Ford GT and GT40 enthusiasts, owners, etc. It's THE FORD GT, published in 2004 by the Society Of Automotive Engineers (SAE), on the development and build of the original GT40s and the Ford GT. Not a coffee-table book, it's softbound and has 250 pages of 18 published SAE papers starting with Roy Lunn's paper dating back to 1964. It's $89.95 from the SAE and members get a discount. No, that comes next month when I start "thumping" my new book, FORD TOTAL PERFORMANCE, with a publication date of Oct 30! It's on Amazon now for pre-ordering and, while I may be a little prejudiced, it is a helluva good read plus lots of nice period photography. It starts with Model A & T Speedsters, covers the golden years of big-blocks, Boss Mustangs, Cobras & GT40s and wraps up with the Ford GT.
