Granatelli Spam?


There is clearly no pattern - mine is stock and I have yet to receive the email!
 
Have had an exchange with him. He admits using the registry to get folks email addys. I banned him.
Sorry for the intrusion, but there will always be folks like granatelli in this world.

I will post the exchange I had with him when I return to my computer.
 
He had the nerve to post on this thread. I deleted granatelli's post.
 
For the record, we would never sell or give out your email addys or any information on our members.

No need. Just wanted to let people know we weren't giving out emails. For the record, you can't see emails in our registry. If you wanted them, you'd have to go person by person through the user list and get the emails from those who've chosen to make them public. You can make them private in the user cp.

I have been off my lap top for several days.

He admitted to me how where he got the addys from. I just ass-umed the registry.

Anyone who wants a copy of the exchange please send me an email.

Am also looking for replica watches, I phones, and sexual stimulants.... Not ;)

This is the second spam I've received related to FGT, the first one was for Ford GT jackets some time back. (I've long since deleted) The email used to contact me is NOT in my profile; and required them clicking onto my website, and clicking on the "email me" javascript to prevent automated spamming. So at least I feel "good" about it being a human spammer wasting his time to go through that much.
 
This board was bombarded by spammers yesterday, let me know if you need a new I-pod or fake Rolex, ....

Love spending my Thanksgiving deleted and banning these fools....

I received this on Wed as well but oddly enough it came to my work e-mail address and not my home, which is the one in my cp. :shrug
 
Are we sure these packs are exactly the same, since the original post was from 2 years ago? The current email describes them as PRO SERIES Xtreme coils and as if they are a new product.
 
We are sure his business tactics are disgusting.

well it was tempting, they offered me a free can of stp if i bought.... maybe they should offer a free can of spam instead.

Funny, the old man was considered somewhat of a snake oil salesman. Always remember him in white suit with STP logos all over. At every race they gave cases of STP to competitors if they agreed to slap a sticker on their cars....
 
I think DBK started the Spider drawing thread, so this gives me an idea. If we can all get a copy of that letter, we can then all send him spider letters in lieu of payment for hi products. I am confident he'll understand what spam is all about then.
