I recently purchased a Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar; rear replacement tire (P315/40ZR19)from my Ford Dealer.
In my 2005 owners manual it states that "you can drive 50 mph upto 120 miles on a flat tire."
The replacement tire does not have an inner liner. However, per the specs it does have carbonfiber sidewalls.
My question is "Are the carbonfiber sidewalls what enable this tire to perform as specified in my owner's manual?":confused
