even in a "normal" oil change, it isn't possible to get it all out of the system. I doubt a suction device will not be able to get it all out either.

I wonder if air pressure would be better

I follow Nardo's advice with most collectibles. but my GT gets the extra treatment of being driven and enjoyed.

long term storage - Run and driven once or twice per year. Battery charge as needed or once or twice per year. Extra air pressure. Tires get square for sure after 8 years or so of sitting.

I have a storage building that just kills batteries.

Running them frequently makes all the difference. And heated storage is required.

I can't fathom what it takes in a humid climate like Florida for storage of old cars. Mucho electric and AC for sure.

I'm in Florida and I use a Car Jacket for my GT when I store it for three or four months. Keeps most all humidity out. I've been impressed so far with performance of this product. Comes with dessicant that is reusable.

I would go with a fuel stabilizer if the car is going to sit for a few months. Any reason you wouldn't just unhook the battery?

I have used Sea Foam for 15 years for storage with no problems. With all the guage problems that may be related to low battery issues (I have two guages out as I write) I now disconnect my battery and then hook it up to the Deltran battery tender. Maybe my two guages will have magically fixed them selves when I hook my battery back up in a few days. Or not.
