Gotcha. One more thing on the to do list next time the car goes in for service. What's the turnaround time?

Thanks bud. Hope you're well.

With a few weeks heads up to coordinate timing it should only take a couple of days once received and then ship them back to you. No problem. All is good. Hope so there as well.

Everyone:

Scott did a bunch of work with my Mile GT and we went through a few changes to get the car "stable" at speeds in excess of 290mph!!! There is no doubt that without his involvement and help we would have never to able to accomplish what we have to date. In March 2018 we are going to try and break the 300mph mark if all goes well. Great product and great guy to have around this forum...

Mark, Thank you much for the continued endorsement. I have had fun working with you guys. I am going to look at making it down there for the mile. We could do the part swap whenever. The free upgrade to Gen2 will make it so much easier to swap springs like we did last year. I'll reach out to Kevin and see if that is an option. I have a few more ideas to help achieve 300.

Scott

Nice work Scott or should we call you Santa Claus ... a very generous offer indeed!
Love these puppies for street, track duty and looks. Once one pushes the car and especially with sticky tires you realize the stock suspensions’ limitations.
These are a must have not to mention the originals many still have are old and need replacing .
A perfect opportunity. Don’t put it off :thumbsup

Looking good. Any noticeable difference after the upgrade in ride or handling?

See the beginning of this thread for "why Gen 2". Ride and handling are unaffected by the upgrade.

Hey All,

So far we have retrofitted five sets to Gen 2 and sold the same number new (mostly FGT Forum members). All of those with the Gen2's have been quite happy with the upgrade or new purchase.

The $3,100 upgrade to Gen2 for Gen1 owners is free until March 2019. Currently, it takes about 2 weeks to return them to you once received. It will take longer if many send them in just before the deadline. :) This winter is a good time to do them!

I went with a new set over the summer. They really transformed the car. I love them.

Your advise is appreciated. Does would I know if my existing set of dampers/shocks should be replaced? I don't see any visible leakage, and although I haven't tracked my GT for the last ~3 years, the ride and going around back road corners don't seem to be suffering or deteriorated. When my oem set needs replacing, Scott's product is what I plan on using, but how do I know when? thx!
