Gauge Initials

Found some initials on the back of my gauges. Anybody know E.P.?

I hope that doctor scrubbed up properly before taking vital organs out.

I have it on good authority that Larry marked up his fuel gauges the same as he marks his whisky bottles - just to check that none is evaporating.

I can't tell you what it is, just what it isn't.
It can't be 'ol OCD EP. If it was, the letters would be done with a labeler, or a stencil, a laser perhaps, or something that would be approximately perfect. And then you'd have to check all the other ones to see that they're exactly the same.
Nope, not our E.P. Not a chance.
