JCSB - YES - it is very slippery- especially with a coating of snow on your shoes or on floor in winter. You go down instantly...We have to be very careful..!

U-Coat it is the best I have used and I have done my fair share of them.
I was turned onto it by Jack Roush as he used it in his bush car garage.

The difference is in the paint. You firs spray a little mist YES WET IT FIRST WITH WATER. Then roll out the paint which then soaks into the concrete.

Andy in your kit they should have sent you a small bottle of clear sand which you can spinkle in the top coat in traffic areas which gives you a lot of grip.

Anyhow 7 years and still looks great.

Here is a direct link.

Once at the site click on the color simulator you can change gloss and flexs and colors very cool site.

Thanks

Thanks again to everyone for a ton of useful information.

Response to "Peak Completions":
The showroom is the basement floor of a new house that we will be building. I am using a local architect/builder, but he is no specialist on designing garages/showrooms. It is just a wide open basement showroom of 8,000 sq ft with 11 ft ceiling height. In addition there will be a regular garage of 1,500 sq ft. I will be designing the interior details from there myself.

There are a number of "coffee table" books on Great Garages. You'll find some interesting ideas that you may want to incorporate.

In the book Great Garages of Detroit our "own" GT CF Genius Kip Ewing, has his garage /workshop as one of those special places.:thumbsup

I went with a Color stamped concrete while the slab was being poured. Since the color and stamping is done to the slab while the concrete is still green it Will last forever and never crack or come up. After it is coated with a sealer i looks like tile.

The colored stamped concrete looks very nice! I really like the colors that you are able to create with adding to concrete.

BTW, where did you get the yellow Corvette wall hanging? (Unless someone tried to drive through the back wall)

I haven't run any of my cars through the back wall YET. Actually it is the rear facia that Dave Hill and Will Cooksey both signed when Dave Hill resigned on his last trip to the Bowling Green plant. It was auctioned off after that trip to raise funds for the plant employees party fund. :thumbsup:thumbsup

My current floor coating. Paint chips, then a clear coat over it.

My son is snapping a photo of my exhaust.
