I can hear the Barrett Jackson talking heads 50 years in the future: this particular model was one of the few that had a rare tax refund and this particular owner still has the replacement Monroney label unissued making it a very unique find…

Wouldn't that just be $30 or less though on original purchase? Maybe $5 a year annually or so after that for continuing registration.

Does anyone know why the tax was lowered from 3k to 2600 on 2020 models? Is it due to the engine changes from 19 to 20? I’ve noticed 2019 cars were still charged 3k for the tax.
