Here's what drives me nuts: we have to ridiculously put the question "why are you joining the forum?" into the registration process so we can moderate new users in efforts to weed out people hocking wares and teenagers who want to argue about cars they've never owned in hypothetical races that have never taken place. If you're honest with your response and say "Hi, I've got a neat key chain from the 60's and some historical pieces from the 24 Hours of Le Mans" odds are we'll say "sweet" and let you sell them. If you say "because of interest in the Ford GT" and your first post is immediately you selling shit, you were fibbing, and you therefore FORCE me to delete your post in efforts to remain consistent with the policy. This ain't eBay. Between the message you receive upon registration and the sticky at the top of every section, I don't know how much clearer I can make that.
I hate that. Be honest.
