They only added $200k when they offered the Ford GT and failed to mention that WESTSIDE FORD in Firebaugh just has/had two. Wonder if they will buy a banner ad? :confused

Let's see... how about a little MSRP algebra:
With a 200k markup on a GT, then... if "X" is the purchase price, then....
X = MSRP + (1.3 x MSRP)
- therefore, for the Shelby Stang.....
X = 50 + (1.3 x 50) , so X = $115k.
Error, error!
... either my math is faulty or that price is too high.

Shelby 500....crazy prices
I tried to buy an '07 Shelby GT500 and was told by several dealers here in the Southeast that the prices are all over MSRP. One dealer wanted $40k over, another $25 over. I will forgo the Shelby and replace my current daily driver, a 2004 corvette conv. with a new one. They are heavily discounted and very reliable, if not very quick. Wonder why Ford is losing money? Maybe they should take a look at some of their dealer's sales practices. Base allocations on fair dealing retailers and let the others whistle a tune for delivery of "specialty" cars. There are currently over 30 Shelby's sitting on dealer lots within 300 miles of me. They can sit forever as far as I am concerned. Also, there are hundreds of brand new GT's available around the country at big discounts. Remember when "those dealers" were asking $200K?

GT 500 set to sell at $5000 below MSRP as availabilty builds and $10000 below on 1000mles plus models, just wait !!!!!!!!!
Economy not in a state of free cash, car values will suffer and whiles guys could make a modest $2k over MSRP now they will be licking thier wounds very soon
As said above, these cars are available but thouse willing to pay well above MSRP are well gone

As of right now, the blue one left our show room yesterday and we will be waiting to receive our next one in by the end of the month. The next shelby will be red with white stripes.
