The Ford Performance App for 2017+ Ford GT's is now available for download on both Android and Apple IoS devices.

Thanks Todd!! This looks like an awesome app and I hope to give it a try real soon. Please post anything during your use of the app for us in the colder climates to get an idea of what to expect.

I think that's what is plugged into the USB port but not sure how it's set up

No camera in the car. It uses the phone camera to record video. So you do need to come up with a mount for the camera. I’ve been putting the phone in front of the wing on the IP and routing the USB cable under the wing down to the Sync port.

“ yes mam my $1000 iPhone was lost on the backstretch at 167mph.... that IS what I said”.

IS GO-PRO an option with all their gadgetry and mounts?
 
I use my Harry's Laptimer app on my iPhone with a RAM suction mount X-grip on my windshield. I'd do the same here with this app turned on. It's not going to fly off anywhere.

Go pro is not supported by the app. The app uses phone's camera.
