Ford GTs so far

I've been meaning to put a little list of the cars so far that will stay with the company. There are a large number of the unfinished carbon cars used for unglamorous purposes, but here are the cars that you've primarily seen driving around the street. From time to time the components get changed so they may have different wheels or calipers at times.

VP15 - Liquid Grey, Launch Control interior, Graphite Wheels, Satin Carbon Fiber Exterior Lowers, originally silver calipers, changed to orange calipers at some point. Publicly on display at 24 hours of Le Mans 2016, made parade lap following 1-2-3 1966 cars with Raj Nair driving and Jean Todt as passenger. Subsequently used in testing in the U.S. Currently still in use.

TT 01 - Frozen White, Blue Stripes, Silver/Gloss Black BBS wheels, Blue Calipers, Light Speed Interior, satin exposed CF exterior package.

TT 02 - Matte Black, Dark Energy Interior, Graphite BBS wheel, orange calipers, gloss exposed CF exterior package.

TT 03 - Shadow Black Heritage. First public showing at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca during car week 2016. Displayed on the concept lawn at Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. Subsequently used in performance testing.

Tooling Trial.

Mass Production (I think). It is my current understanding that these vehicles are sellable.


MP 1-1 - Frozen White, Gloss Black BBS Wheels, Silver Calipers, Gloss Black Exterior CF, Dark Energy Interior. Used at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for initial journalist ride alongs.

MP 1-2 - Liquid Blue, Silver BBS Wheels, Dark Energy Interior, Gloss Black lower CF, Black Calipers.

With Continental Tire Sportscar champion, Ford GT WEC driver Billy Johnson at LVMS.

The picture by Billy Johnson is MUCH more representative of the color than the Road and Track pictures above. Not sure how they arrived at those final images having that color.

MP 1-3 - Liquid Red, Gloss Black Wheel (I've seen this car in person but wasn't paying much attention and it was just about as dirty as it was when it was photographed below, will have to go back and get details).

MP 1-4 - Shadow Black, Orange Stripes, Launch Control interior, gloss Carbon Fiber Wheel, gloss exposed exterior CF, orange calipers. Job 1 Ceremony car at MNV, to be retained by FMC as marketing vehicle.

They are all good depending on which exterior color you get. Either way it's all CF. Between the exposed gloss or satin, I would generally prefer the gloss with a paint protection film to maintain it, but I think satin looks better paired with certain exterior paints, such as a gloss black paint with the satin exterior bits.

Dave----On the Dark energy interior shown on the Frozen white vehicle ...., where the surfaces are trimmed in the Alcantara ' fabric, is the substrate still carbon fiber but just 'covered with the fabric"?
Is Dark energy the ''base interior" ?

the Family is 'zeroing' in on :
-Liquid Blue
-white stripes
-Red calipers
-bright aluminum wheels
Should nicely 'match ' our 2006 Midnight Blue overall scheme.

Most of what's under everything is carbon fiber in there. You can see from the below. It will either be alcantara, leather, or CF depending on which bit and which interior you choose.

Dark Energy is the base.

Thanks for the great pictures. The options make more sense when you can actually see them on a car. Do you have any pictures of the optional interiors? I am really interested in Light Speed and how it would work with exterior paints.
