Ford GTs in other countries

Wonder how many FGTs are outside North America? I know Neilda is outside London and there are a few in the UK, Germany, Denmark, and Switzerland. Does anyone know where the FGTs are or where they were shipped to? Occasional post from the Middle East. There are a few in Australia. Just curious where the reported number of around 200 shipped over seas ended up?

Are there any FGTs in France, Italia, Austria, Japan?

I have seen 2 in Belgium , with the Belgian license plates on.
 
When the cars were first for sale and still in the 250 to $300,000 range, Ford of Hollywood told me they had shipped 6 to Japan and if they could find more they could ship more.
 
Don't forget the Russians. At least two totalled now, never to be replaced.
 
I have my white, stripe delete 2006 here.

I have personally seen the following other FGTs here:

1 Heritage
1 Blue with stripes
2 Red with stripes (one of these belonging to a forum member - one of the 1 of 101´s )

On the owners list here there is one guy registered owning 2 FGTs - I don´t believe they are part of my list above, so my guess would be at least 7 FGTs here in Denmark.

Interseting information. I suspect a large percentage of the estimated 200 or so that went out of the United States were shipped to Canada? 6 to Japan, that must be a sight to see on one of their roads? Would like to see it up against one of their Bullet Traiins:thumbsup

I know Gierkink? had one in England that he did a road rally through Europe in a post a long time ago, with a Stradialle parking it in front of the Ferrari headquarters until he was asked to move it off grounds. 5 in the UK. Wow. Wonder is there are any in France?

Export GTs

There were 101 GTs built for export to Europe in the 2005 model year.

There were 277 GTs built for export to Canada in 2006.

I have exported MANY GTs. Countries that come to mind:
Philippines x 2
Australia x 2
New Zealand x 1
Dubai x 2
Kuwait x 3
Russia x 1
France x 1
Germany x 1

and probably several others that I dont recall....
 
Shelby what's your estimate of GTs left in the US now, less than 3000?

I have one in Guatemala (it´s the only one over here), originally delivered in the US. I got it after a crash and have it here under repair, hopefully it will be on the road soon...
 
I know of 6 in Australia that have been converted to RIGHT HAND DRIVE...
 
Spain, France, Italia seem to be void of FGTs? Guess Ferrari banned them in Italia?

Anyone know of any in South Africa?

I know Neilda increases the FGT population in Le Mans when he goes over for a run.

There was a chap that started a thread a few days ago re. tire options and I think he was from Italy...
 
Interesting where the FGTs ended up, I would neve have suspected Quatamala? Bet that looks hot going down to the local fast food place for a burger and fries, or crusiing the main drag ? :thumbsup

Diego, are there good roads to drive the FGT in Quatamala?

do you have an estimate of the number of FGTs that are left undamaged in the US? Bet it is below 3000.
 
There are believed to be over 100 in the United Kingdom alone.
 
in Francorschamp last weekend I saw a blu with stripes lisenced GT005 Belgian plates
There was also a red one with white stripes

In antwerp there is a black with stripes for sale
ours is tungsten so that makes at least 4 regularly driven in Belgium and I know one is rebuilding a FGT after an accident

a Belgian team VDS racinbg team has one grey Ford GT from
Matech on the racetrack FIA GT3 driven by Dedoncker Leinders and kuppens
