I'm on my fourth windscreen in the McLaren so this is good news. The superlight glass in the 12c breaks at the drop of a hat

Maybe you should consider the Clearplex for the 12c since it is your DD?

Ford should have used this stuff instead, much tougher than gorilla glass. :lol

About 14 seconds into the last video it states "conventional glass on the outside, Gorilla glass on the inside" ??? Does this mean no additional resistance to pitting?

Not that many will drive theirs in winter with all the gravel on the ground that destroyed one windshield a year on my truck, but I can see that maybe the "no cost for glass replacement" might exclude this vehicle... On the other hand with the gorilla backer, it seems doubtful a chip in the front will result in a long break.
