Looks aside, I'd be concerned about what would need to be done to maintain the car's 'rigidity' once the top is removed.

Clickbait, as owners know, the roof, along with the big-ass roll cage is an inherent part of the tub. No roof = no chassis

There was an initial desire to do the final two years as Targa cars. For a variety of reasons, one of which should be obvious by now, this didn't/won't ever happen.

I'm sure that removing the necessary sections of the integrated steel roll cage wouldn't be that hard for the road car. That component exists as it does purely in service of the race car. I talked to Svensson plenty of times about the inability to effectively integrate the buttress and air tubes into a targa design. They messed with the idea. As far as rigidity, it's a carbon tub. I doubt there's any significant structural cost to the removal of the roof given the way the chassis is constructed. The roof is just the hat they put on at the end.

Dave,

Is Ford planning to do "anything" unique with the remaining 2 years? Diff color choices, different livery's, different wheels, new interior options, power bump, minor facelift? etc... I wouldn't expect you to give major groundbreaking details, but it would be nice to know that they are still looking at the evolution.

I would classify all current remaining changes as commensurate with what you've seen in the first 3 model years. There were some minor engineering changes introduced for model year 2020, but they have not yet detailed them publicly, despite delivering 2020 cars to customers.
