Ford GT Rear Exit Header Video

I finally bought a Go Pro Hero2 today and wanted to try it out. This GT has the M-9430-GTX Ford Racing Rear Exit headers. The camera doesn't do a great job of capturing how ridiculously loud the car is. It sounds amazing. Car is otherwise stock, so it's not quite as fast as the noise indicates.

Driving a Heritage GT definitely makes every passing driver do a double take. Pretty amusing to watch sitting in a turn around.

Cool video DBK! It looks like the Detriot area has some nice weather. I just recently got a Hero and have yet to play with it!

Are you using the internal microphone in the plastic housing? The new one has a jack for an external. I have the original and might upgrade for the next river trip.
 
Watch those tips move on acceleration. Are we allowed to take our cars out yet? I'm in N.E. Ohio.

That was just the crappy internal mic. It definitely turned out better than I thought though.

It was probably 57-58 up here while I was out driving. Good enough for me!
 
I forgot to ask: How did you mount? Did you use the suction cup mount or something else?
 
Used the suction cup. I had to buy it for the $30 or whatever because they only had the "outdoor" kit. Suction cup works really well. We used it on the outside of Peak's car in a similar area going 3x that fast.

I'm quite sure you broke the law speeding, and the sound ordinance bylaws as well. Shame on you!!!! LOL
 
I deleted my bumper, nobody told me it was also a camera mount. Rats! Nice video.
 
Cool Vid Dave. First GT I ever heard was a rear exit header setup. Fell in love with the sound on the spot.
 
Now that's an exhaust note!

Just the way a supercar should sound!

Hard (or impossible?) to live w/ every day but still great!!!

Not true, very easy to live with, just tread lightly. Go ankle deep in go pedal and ..... well you already heard the sound clip!
 
I have the M-9430-GTX too, No way it is too loud.

You must be influenced by the noise police. :lol
