Ron, this sounds good. All those wanting to go out to dinner Tuesday evening as a block, just meet at 5pm, hotel bar. You and Mark buy a round while we discuss restaurant options and we head out as a heard.

Place in the hotel looks like a good menu and some good steak joints 3 - 4 blocks away if you do a Google Search.

Hey guys, I grew up there, so I can give a little advice. SLC is not a foodie town. Though, it has drastically changed since the 2002 Olympics.
Solid restaurants are:
Seafood:
Market Street Grill Great seafood and wine list. Easy walking distance
Seafood, American and Soups - 48 W Market St, Salt Lake City
European:
Melting Pot - Fondue, Easy Walking distance from hotel
French, European and International - 340 S Main St, Salt Lake City
Steak Houses
Spencer’s for Steaks and Chops - Salt Lake City
255 S. West Temple 5-6 blocks walk
Fleming's Steak House
20 South 400 West (at The Gateway), Salt Lake City, UT 84101
(This is about an 8 block walk from hotel, no good parking around the restaurant)
Ruth's Chris Steak House - Downtown SLC Easy walking distance from Hotel
275 S West Temple
Salt Lake City, UT 84101
Could possibly be in town (Park City) on Wednesday the 24th, but have to leave for Chicago on the 25th.
There is a nice Ruth's Chris Steak House in the Park City Hotel just west of Main Street Park City that has great steaks. Nice run up Parley's Canyon on I-80 open roads, incredible vistas. Hotel should have plenty of good parking if you are interested in an evening in the mountains. :banana

Got the iron going will see who's is the better at the iron. Did I tell you that the guy that got me into ford is coming with his GT!
DBK - I sent you an email...but I unfortunately will not be attending Rally 6 this year. Can't believe I'm even typing this. But some personal issues have come up I need to tend to, as well as some business needs.
TeamJeff will be driving the JOYRIDE Ford GT from Monterey to SLC. Other GT owners will want to check out the new carbon fiber pieces from Tecnocraft. And I'll mention the new T4 Seats first, since this is a major track event. Two will be in my GT and I know TeamJeff will give "rides" or just let someone sit in them to check out headroom with helmets on. I think at least 2" minimum will be gained. And we all know, an extra 2" goes a long way! =)
Additionally, the new carbon fiber rear diffuser and rear "wicked wicker" will be on the GT. I can't wait to see the diffuser myself, for the first time, next Monday morning! The pics look unbelievable. Ok enough touting on CF.
I will miss all you guys and this event that I know is going to be amazing. Take lots of pics and post them to the forum please.
