Gentlemen,

I'm packing up and Peggy and I will arrive in Park City on Tuesday night. My new yellow GT is almost finished but will not be delivered in time to get it to R12. That's a bummer but entirely my doing as I didn't delete the optional Ti exhaust hoping it would become available (it hasn't). It will be a great post Rally day (in about three weeks) when it shows up and I'm enjoying the anticipation. #34 is serviced, sparkling clean, and ready for another great Rally. I can't wait. See you in the bar on Tuesday night gentlemen.

Chip

I wasn't able to post more pics from my road trip via iPhone while on the road, maybe due to poor data rates along my route. So to catch up, after leaving Minot and having early lunch in Williston (which looks very much like the oil boomtown it is), I crossed into Montana and stayed on US 2 across the "high line". That's a term for the area served by the northernmost railroad of a century ago. I went through Glacier NP and stopped in Kalispell. Thursday morning I continued into the panhandle of Idaho, through Bonners Ferry to Sandpoint where I waved to Floridaho Chris, strolled on the beach for a few minutes, then headed to Washington. After crossing into WA I picked up WA 20 all the way across he state. 20 is a GREAT driving road with lots of well paved turns and elevation changes. It goes through national forests, state parks, small towns, and North Cascades NP, then out to Whidbey Island. I got a picture of the GT in front of the A-6's at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island. I also stopped at Deception Pass bridge to watch the sun sink into the Straits of San Juan de Fuca. Then I went south to Portland to my relatives.

Here's some pre-rally Eclipse pics taken from the Grand Tetons. If this is any indicator of what's to come, it will be epic! Cant wait!!

Is Ken Block coming to the Rally? He lives in Park City. I bet he'll drive DBK's NGT if we let him! LOL

I'm sure everyone has seen dozens, but this one is mine. North Platte NE. Arriving Park City Tuesday AM.

Tiny dot might be Mercury. Or it could just as easily be dust on my sensor. I've seen it on other photos though, so I'm going with Mercury.

Thanks. Guess I'll have to break down and load yet another app on my phone.
