Ford GT National Rally II! Details/Registration

Fully committed with new trailer

DBK/ALL...I am now 'more than fully committed"...not only have I made the hotel resv., paid for 3 of us (wife, daughter and myself), but today I completed my order of a New Classic enclosed 22 foot trailer spec'd out to carry the GT (and of course the Harley's--not at the same time) I have a questions:(and more to come):
1. since many of us are becomming trailer owners, is it reasonable to think that the hotel has big, open parking areas for us to park the trucks/trailers? This is my first trailer ownership.

ALL..Have a great and safe trip and event at INDY. I will watch for all of you on the TV and see you in California.!

Very, very seldom will that be the case...sorry.:frown

Hotel definitely doesn't have room for trucks and trailers. Well, I should say they have room for about a half dozen, but it won't be enough. Last year we ended up having every store their trailers at Ford WHQ. This year we're going to store trailers at a nearby lot (just waiting for P.A.G to confirm). It's about 7 miles from the hotel, and about 30 seconds from a freeway exit.

trailer storage

Very good...seven miles away is great!

National Rally Questions

Can't wait for this but I have a couple of questions...Is the registration price for EACH person? Or can I take my wife included in the registration price of $520?

Will the Fairmont Hotel have security for the cars?

I am going to the Rally, but not sure about the GT, it's a long way and the truck from Florida didn't work out. Plus, I'll have a kid and wife and maybe a nanny.

What super cool stuff am I going to miss out on?

None if you show up.... Good to see you're in Brian. Wouldn't be the same without ya. :cheers

Signed us up for two! Looking forward to seeing our SoCal group again.

Guys, Have a great time. We're not able to make to this one. Larry

We'll miss you at this one Larry! Next time...

Anyone who hasn't sent in, please do so as soon as possible because our catering, transport and parking numbers for the museum/yacht would be best settled sooner rather than later!

:cheers

Since you bring THAT race up (at the risk of opening a HUGE can of worms here), I'd kinda like to know specifics about Fred Thompson's stand on a whole host of issues. I'm kinda drawn to his "Teddy Roosevelt" persona. He seems like one NO NONSENSE guy...especially on the border & defense. And, from what I've heard on news reports (and we all KNOW we can take their every word as gospel), he's stayed consistant on his views over the years.

Besides, God knows the LAST "actor" we had in the Whitehouse didn't turn out to be so bad...

I'll shut up now. :cheers

I was leaning towards Rudy due to how he was able to cut through much of the Lib BS and clean up much of NY. However I'm with you EP, seems everytime the Media says Fred Thompson it's followed with Ronald Reagan. Hmmm...

Ah-hummmm... "I knew Ronny Reagan ... Ronny Reagan was a friend of mine. Freddy Thompson is no Ronny Reagan.":lol

I don't know that anyone has equated him with "The Gipper" ... except for the obvious "actor" component. But, that having been said, I CAN imagine him saying, "I PAID FOR THIS MICROPHONE, MR. (whomever)!!!!!" In THAT sense - they be pretty much the same, me thinks!

R.J. be a bit tooooo socially "lib" fer ol' Pockets. BUT ENNYBUDDY'D BE MORE GOODER THAN BILLARY!!!!!!:thumbsdow

From what I have "heard" he is a social and fiscal conservative and a very good communicator. However I have yet to do my homework, we'll see. My politics tend to be just a tad to the right of Attila the Hun.

WhoHo... was able to change some meeting dates.

I am in... Sending the Check and Reg today.

P.S, I've had a bunch of recent registrations coming in recently so we'll definitely be well over the cars we had last year :banana

Also, I can't spill the beans yet, but for the Friday event at the Petersen we'll have a couple very special guests :eek :cheers
