I wouldn't say that. The dude from Top Gear and Matt Prior were both in love with it.
The thing about any reviewer and their opinion on any car is that it will be tempered by their expectations of it. If at any point you grouse that you cannot use the car for daily driving applications (which I heard in the course of one of the reviews), you have totally missed the point and therefore of course you will be disappointed by it.
I can only speak for myself, but I want impractical race-bred lunacy for $500k. I want sense of occasion. The "well that's a very fast daily driver" experience is why you can buy a bunch of modern exotics at brutal discounts; because they are appliances for speed that lack character. Guys expect a raging beast and then complain the 720S is too quiet, comfy and civilized. Then they get a GT that's loud, brutal and raw, and they are upset it's not quiet, comfy and civilized. :lol
