This is ridonkulous! A few days worth of sucked-up crap. Going to try running without screens for a while and see how the double wrap handles it.

Brave man.

Wow! OEM tires or aftermarket?

The stock Michelins are very sticky.

understood, I removed mine and have aftermarket tires... not seeing that much garbage in my screens with the other tires

Yikes! Thank goodness for the screens. Assume you will report how double PPF layer will hold up to Texas gravel, sand, acorns, nuts, bolts, screws, empty shell casings...…..

I’d say it’s NUTS, but all I see is the shells to nuts..... looking forward to hearing of your wrap results....

They sure are, super sticky!
When K019 was delivered to me it was cold and had been for several days prior, so my cement driveway had no heat in it at all. Not that back east kind of cold, but still almost unbelievable how much grit right off the truck cold tires picked up in a 100ft driveway and cold.

I’m curious what you are using for aftermarket tires
Also how you like them
Dave want to hear please how the film holds up
Cheers

I blow out the screens after a good drive. I use my shop vac running it in reverse. Cleans all the grit and rocks out.

Glad you didn‘t pick up any priuses :willy

--I blow mine out with the portable blower.
--in 4000 miles I collected enough gravel to repave my driveway.

Amen Brothers, the double wrap can’t handle the crap the tires pick up! Put too many layers on the bottom of the doors and you can’t close the doors! All you guys with lightweights will pick so much gravel your ride won’t be considered a lightweight! I’m changing the tires soon!

That’s a lot of stuff, wouldn’t have imagined.

I plan on getting the hardest tires & putting something on them to make them really slick. That should keep those pesky little stones out of my screens!

You guys wrap your cars top and bottom, but don't bother to wrap your tires? Sheesh. I'll bet you forgot to wrap the brake rotors and pads too.

I run Notto tires in cold weather and still collect all kinds of goodies. I added caned air to my car show cleaning bag, like you clean your computer with, you can blow out 90% if the collection with it. A really hard break check unloads most of it too. Always use the screens except on the track.

As Blake said, I have used the brake pedal many times to dump a lot out. I tell the passenger "rock dump" and hit it.

What are you guys using for aftermarket tires?

Soon we'll be seeing them wrapped around telephone poles, bridges, etc. with hard tires just like we saw with some 05 GTs. Hope not, but you guys need to be more careful with those harder tires.
