The time has arrived! In honor of the Ford GT Forum 5th Anniversary (July 31st, 2010), we are collaborating with team at WHIPPLE SUPERCHARGERS to provide a brand spanking new 4.0L Whipple Supercharger! It's big, it's mean, and it makes a whole bunch of power. Earlier this year, Rockstar managed to put out 917rwhp with his big Whipple (disclaimer - significant additional tweaking required). It's also worth nearly $10 Large so major thanks to Dustin at Whipple for hooking us up with a good deal on the monster blower so we can make this happen. :cheers
The eligibility rules are simple:
Lifetime Subscribers of any level
Le Mans 2010 Supporters
If you aren't one of those two groups and feel like now might be a good time to get in, you can do so at this link: I feel like subscribing. Major thank you to all subscribers as we obviously would not be giving stuff like this away without you. On the day of the 5th anniversary, one of your names will be chosen at random, and you will be the big winner. My sincere hope is that it goes to someone who can use it, and have a blast with it. I can't stipulate that you can't sell it, but I would be pretty bummed if that's what ended up happening to it. Make yourself a really expensive mantle piece if you don't feel like putting it on your car!
Based on the previous thread, I've stolen the names of all those that qualify and will place that list below. If you are a lifetime subscriber and didn't post or don't see your name, go ahead and I'll add you to the list! This will now supplant the Kip Ewing Carbon Fiber center console as our biggest giveaway today. I promise when I win the lottery someday, we'll give away a whole car.
I'll be digging over the next few days to find additional goodies for raffle to all our members, who are much appreciated regardless of the form of their contribution. So thanks again to everyone, and good luck. :thumbsup
p.s, sorry I've been busy and haven't gotten this thing rolling sooner than 2 weeks out. We've been pre-occupied, as we are scheduled to take delivery of a mini-DBK of some kind at the end of the year.
