Hi Fast Freddy, yes stock BBS wheels, mine has 1800+ on it. Manufactured Jan,05 got it November 05. Haven't compared w/ GPS my guess as compared on several run w/ Porsche, Audi & other Japanese Cars seems OK, probably 5% difference Max. Unlike the Italian Lamborghini'S speedo !0% higher readings.

with your stock height tires and so little miles on them i bet you accuracy is within + or - 2% like mine is :thumbsup

5% off i highly doubt.

I'd recommend turning your RPMs down. At that power running 7200 rpm that motor won't last nearly as long as it would running 66-6700. Normally I'd say it's not a concern but it definitely looks like you're seeing extended periods of time at max rpm.

I agree Mr. DBK, Only rev the engine to 7200rpm if I stumble on such long empty road w/c is difficult in our country. If I shift at 6600rpm on 4th to 5th then revs will drop to about 5300revs w/c is around 180mph. At that speed my engine needs the extra rpm & hp to gao the high ratio between gears specially from 4th to 5th & 5th to 6th to stay on power band for such high speed run. Anyway I do it on such an occasion where everything is perfect. On regular drives, I baby the car. Thanks!

Well stock 4th gear tops out at 172mph (6,500 rpm redline).

From the video he takes it up to 187mph. This would mean a redline of 7,200 rpm.

That would explain also how he goes past 220mph in 5th...

Either that or smaller diameter tires...:tap:

Our GT has well designed aero dynamics. The GT feels so sure footed at that speed. The GT40 were already doing 200+mph in the 60's w/ very tall radials in Le Mans.

I was wondering if the dash was installed in a small business jet and the plane was just making a large turn in the sky. Wish I could have seen the road in the picture

Sorry about that, the camera was mounted on a suction mount directly above the front windshield just beside the rear view. It was too close to the dash for a wider shot. I've tried mounting it from the rear windshield, problem is turning the camera on & focusing would require me to stop & step down the car to do it properly.:wink
