That is the one! Thanks for everything Paul..

I'm happy to share the pictures with you, but you must give me first crack at the car if you ever sell it. Seriously.

That was a great day at Saleen. I'll post some additional pictures when I get home.

I sent you a bunch of pictures Steve. I hope you enjoy them.

I wonder if that's my PJ :biggrin

The pictures were taken on August 28, 2006. I believe that is the very first s197 PJ (which went to PJ). Here are some pictures of it being driven into the showroom. Note PJ's name over the driver's door.

So Cal
Missed the raffle, again, my VIN is off by 2 number only from the 1797 car, never won a raffle before so the un-lucky streak continues :lol :lol :lol

Cool shots. I believe the PJ's were all built in CA. That looks like the prototype (it was much lower than the production cars due to cut coils). Mine is the only one built with the Saleen Scenic Roof.

Very cool. I didn't know Saleen offered that on the PJ. Did Ford get the idea from Saleen or was it the other way around? Ford didn't offer the glass roof until much later.

I really like the fact the PJ has a built motor, not just a bunch of bolt-ons.

I have heard Ford engineered the car with the glass roof in mind and worked with CDC and Saleen for their respective versions. The Saleen is much better fitting than the CDC, but unlike the Ford glass roof (09+ I believe) the Saleen has no sliding shade. I keep sunglasses in the console at all times :cool
