Hello Folks. I've been going through the "Car Guy" closet and came across several items that I'm ready to part with and might be of interest. All of these items are in extremely clean to mint condition as you'll see in the photos.
Here is my last 2005 Ford GT auto show pamphlet from the 2005 auto show circuit. I grabbed several of these back in the day and found this one when going through another box. It's very clean but not flawless. Can't find any on eBay (they used to be pretty common...) so not sure what market value is. I'll ask $40 and hope someone thinks it's fair.
Original Ford GT40 Road Test from Car Life magazine
The intro says Ford announced "last July" that about 100 GT40s would be built for customers to drive on the street, so I'm guessing this is a circa 1968 story. I don't have the entire magazine, just the article. It's only black-and-white photos, but it's in very good shape and cardboard backing was used to keep it that way. Pretty sure I bought this off eBay over 10 years ago. There's another one on eBay now for $12.95. I'll let this one go for $10.
2000 Mustang Cobra R Press Kit
This is from the press trip where the car was launched. This is different from a standard press kit, as it has all the car's technical information, color slides and a CD, PLUS the schedule of events for the press trip. Super rare press kit, in near-mint condition, with lots of great images and info on the 2000 Cobra R. Price $75
2007 Ford Mustang GT500 Press Kit, Signed by Carroll Shelby
This is a cool 2005 Ford SVT auto show press trip that focuses on the then-new, returning 2007 Ford Mustang GT500 and includes info on the Ford GT, the Focus SVT and other SVT models (even the Ford Explorer Sport Trac-based "Adrenalin" concept vehicle). It's signed by Carroll Shelby and in very clean shape with just some minor edge wear (see photo).
