Ford GT and Clint Eastwood

I had my 2018 Ford GT at Tehama, Clint Eastwood's private Golf Club in Carmel/Pebble Beach CA where I am a member the other night. We were having dinner. Clint was there and we were talking about the Ford GT and the story behind the new GT. He was really interested. After dinner he exited thru the underground garage where the GT was parked and he stopped and spent a lot of time with several other members checking out the car. He was very impressed and was asking a lot of questions about the car. It seemed like he liked this horse better than all the others he has ridden over the years!

He is at Tehama all the time. His house is built in the middle of the property. Very down to earth guy. Treats the members as friends and feels at home. I guess he is, he owns the place.

He use to own the Hog’s Breath bar and restaurant but sold a long time ago. He still owns the Mission Ranch Restaurant and Hotel in Carmel. He also owns the Tehama Golf Club which includes around 2,000 acres and his private golf course in Carmel Valley. He is also one of the major owners of the Pebble Beach Company which owns Pebble Beach golf course, Spyglass and Spanish Bay and thousands of acres in the Pebble Beach area.

I just googled Tehama Golf Club, it's breathtaking. I think we need to put together a group of Forum members that play golf, when we travel we can reach out to our GT comrades and play and round of golf and talk about cars! Who know when the next Rally will be, plus there is never any time for golf at the Rally.
