Ford Airbag emblems

I have a good friend with an 05 he’s had many years. The Ford emblem on his airbag has deteriorated. I was wondering if anyone knows where I might find a replacement. Thanks

I believe you are referring to the "Ford GT" medallion on the steering wheel airbag, correct? My suggestion is to have him remove the airbag (very easy process) and send it to Shelby/Elite Autos; he has perfected the repair process.

This was a common problem early on. Ford replaced mine under warranty back then

With the help of some stickers, my emblem has now reached just about full and even corrosion coverage. I kind of like it better than the original brushed look.

I also let my emblem crackle over time and I like the look of it - no stickers needed - just let it age naturally. The crackling uniformly covers 100 percent of my emblem now. I've never had any non-FGT owners comment that it looks bad. Noone seems to know that it ever looked different when new.

Correct it's a cheap looking pos decal... only one person restores the air bag that I know of properly..
