The ROFGO GULF collection will be displayed at Spa 24 hours race in August. Cool stuff.

That will be cool. I think the event to attend this year will be Goodwood. I'm quite surprised at what seems to be zero interest in US gt40 enthusiasts for this event. Re-enforces some stereotypes :)

Goodwood is ALWAYS THE event. I want to go that more than anything else. I think Neilda attends religiously. I can't decide if the Revival or the Festival of Speed is the one I'd rather see. They're each epic in their own way. But one is closer to LeMans weekend.....

It amazes me how the look of the GT40 "Wows" me every time. Guess I'm a sucker for a pretty face.

Revival! Where else in the world could you see what will be happening this year at the Revival? A track full of original GT40s. Not parked on a lawn being admired by stuffies but trading paint like they did back in the day.

Where else could you see this? Jump to the 4 mins mark if you want to jump right to some good action.

I totally agree Mike, but there's also the aspect of the watching ALL the eras of cars challenging the hillclimb up Lord March's driveway. Seeing everything from an xkss to a 917 racer to a Formula 1 car being launched up the lane, and then a chance to actually step up and get close to the cars afterward would be rather intoxicating too.

Yeah, best would be to attend both. Often. :)

Great vid, thanks for posting it!

It's not too late to put together a group trip for the Revival for those not going to the rally. I'm in.
