FOG be careful on way to rally

We just arrived from Erie Pa in Mt Airy N.C.for the night. Please watch for FOG in the mountains. We were delayed 2 hrs on I-77 just north of N.C. state line.. . they closed the interstate.(fog related pile up we were advised) We finally made it to Fancy Gap and took rt 52 thru the mountains...quite a thrill with the fog and with the Truck- towing GT and Trailer...slow ride.
Be careful tomorrow as will we on the final leg to the Umstead.

Andy, I ran into the same mess as you did. We anticipated getting here at 6 pm and ended up getting to the Umstead at around 9 PM! We were stuck in no less than 4 major traffic accident backups with nowhere to go, no cell service, and no alternate routes. That fog was intense! I assume you saw the semi that ditched off the side of the interstate? Talk about some unneeded excitement.

Yeah, you know it happes a lot when I was on 61 (I think it was) going to Danville, they have LED "landing lights" marking the outside yellow lines. I also wish I had a jake brake on my truck.....
