I'm in for St. Pete next year.
Dave is right about Sebring. It's in the middle of nowhere-no "fine" dining or accomodations. Unless special parking arrangements are made, you would not want to bring your GT there-basically a "free for all" parking situation with RVs, tents, cars and trucks jam packed everywhere-including really close to the track. However, it is one hell of a party if you stay overnight at the racetrack. This year at Sebring my 12 year old son got a crash course in socially unacceptable (but really entertaining) behavior. When he saw the first of many "will eat p*ssy for free" signs he asked me how much they normally charged.

Again, appreciate everyone's thoughts. Damage reported to be limited to the clam shell, bumper and rear facia of the car, alignment, etc., and my new Heffner exhaust. I'm not sure the engine compartment has been fully evaluated yet. Shoud see for myself on Friday. Still will likely be without for a month or more. Need Prozac.

Just got online after 3 days of traveling only to see of Elliot's accident! What a bummer! I have no words of wisdom to make you feel better, Elliot, but I surely hope it all gets resolved to your satisfaction quickly and I'm sure glad to hear you and Gregory weren't injured. I would be glad to help if there is anything that I can do. Keep us posted.

Took photos Friday. Will try to post this week. Spoke to Rich at GT guys, and am in conversation with ins carrier to ship to Mich.for them to repair, as local dealer only has worked on 3 collision cars to date, and none as extensive as this. Still awaiting inspection of the engine and frame. Had to give permssion to remove bumper to open clamshell for evaluation. 2 month minimum to repair. Bummer!! Irregardless, count me in for St. Pete next year. Will only drive in dry weather!!

Good repair choice Elliot! If you need a FGT "fix" while your ride is undergoing surgery, you know where we are!
On the plus side, perhaps your car might benefit from a few "improvements" when you get the insurance check.

Very nice video. Very sorry I missed it since I'm much more photogenic than the bozos that were there. I am surprised the Forum guys/owners looked sober. You're an excellent photographer by making them look good.
