The thicker mats are maybe a little too thick for the rears, so order the thinner mats for the rear. Black or dark grey look nice.

I have the Llyod 48oz mats and have removed the stock rubber mats and replaced them with the Llyods.

The only reason to keep the rubber mats in place are to possibly add some sound deadening (I haven't noticed any difference) and if you heel and toe shift it moves your right heel up a bit and that may be a better position for you.

The pluses of getting rid of the rubber mats, preserves the OEM mats in new condition, give you more room in the footwell, and last, but not lease, you save 10 lbs of weight! Note the GT only has 375 lbs of load capacity, if you lose the rubber mats you can eat that much more during the holiday get togethers and still carry a passenger.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to find real red mats. I really wanted red with white stripes, but no one will make them.

OK Frank - first the Bra, then the mats..... What's next seat covers in Red?

Then comes the heads - in red of course. Pretty soon you'll look like a ripe tomato careening down the road...

BTW - I'm sure somebody will buy the "blue" nuclear as I'm sure Jay has one in red for ya.

Sorry Frank - I forgot the Charlotte Web penance.

Second thought - if you get a green bra you can dress up for the Holiday Season

Rocman, are those white faced guages you have?

The Loyds mats work well, mine are over the rubber, me too from road works auto.com, did not call them, ordered through the site.

Yes, I looked at the red light, but it's just not the same; buttttttt - green might be in the holiday spirit! I'll have to give Spirit the hint to order my Whipple Xmas present in green.

Bony, can we do that?

Looks good in a white car. You did do that right? Not a photo shop job?

I am sure it would be possible, but a s-it load of effort. I have a black car no stripes so the match for me is PERFECT! :biggrin

Yes I think the orange and blue on your face (guage that is) would look good Spirit. Don't forget, all warning guages are in RED.

Page Please

.... Don't forget, all warning guages are in RED.

And all this time I thought that was your GT in my rear view mirror.

Guess I had better get the owner's manual out and look up what that RED image is that's burned into my rear view mirror.

What page is that on?

Here is some help... that red image on top of black and white car is friendly trooper who wants to invite you to share some fellowship at the Gray Bar Hotel. Only advise, don't drop the soap in the shower:banana :willy :banana

Only if he can catch me.:biggrin

Like the Trooper up in Kansas said when he stopped me doing close to a 100 mph, "I want to thank you for not trying to out run me, and I know you could; because then I would really have to work.":rofl

And then after about 20 minutes of talking about the car, he let me go without even a written warning.:cool

Mrs. Spirit couldn't believe I talked my way out of another one.:frown

It must be the "Texas Accent".:thumbsup
