We had a LONG winter. :frown

Probably could have gotten it out sooner but wanted the roads to have a chance to be cleaned by rain / city.

She started up beautifully after nearly 7 months of hibernation. I love the prime feature. No flat spots that I can see or feel. All gauges appear (knock on wood) to be fully functional.

Replaced the clamshell struts and put a fresh coat of wax on. She is ready for the season!

You have the Bridgestones? Did you use "Flatstoppers" or something else to prevent flat spotting?

Yes. No, just put them to 45 psi.

You fellows need to move to Florida. Our best driving season is winter, when it's about 60-70 deg here.

Summer is actually too darn hot, with frequent rain.

I love reading the threads about taking cars out of hibernation! It must be like getting into a new car every spring. Keep the threads and pics coming!

P.S. I remember going to Michigan for the first Rally and found out there was a "season" for roadwork (here, it's 365 days a year)!

Awesome. Here in redneck country we can drive all year but it is often too hot late may through august. I got my car in December. The GT loves the cold weather. I miss it. It just doesn't feel right driving with the AC on.........or the stereo.

Well we have the worst of all worlds here. We routinely see -25 (temp NOT wind chill) in the winter and 100 in the summer.

Of course the 7 month yearly hibernation DOES keep the miles low! ;)

Out of curiosity, How long did you need to crank the starter to build oil pressure?

Congrats! My son lives in Mankato - I was there in January to visit so I know how nasty the streets can be there.
