I hear ya Ralphie and I am kind of back and forth on this issue. The flip side is that in regions like SoCal where there's a Ford dealer every 10 miles and Ford cranks out a gazillion model XYZs.... dealers often make only peanut-sized profit because of the close-proximity competition. Far more of these transactions are made than the greedy ADM transactions.

Is Ford limiting supplies by choice ? Either way, I think time will bring these cars to MSRP and even below (RS and GT350), I can be as patient as a grasshopper :biggrin

I guess what pisses me off the most is that Ford does all the advertising to excite the customers, and these dealers asking high ADMs haven't put a dime into it, but get to reap the benefit!

Sometimes the dealers haven't kept money into it, as they are requesting contributions or shares before or during the transaction. Ultimately the consumer pays for high advertising costs, as the manufacturer tries to pass these through the dealer onto the consumer.

As for ridiculous ADM's, just say no! No one is twisting anyone's arm. If the consumers just hold tight, then the ADM's have to hit a more reasonable level. But yeah, is any ADM really reasonable? In some cases perhaps.

All excellent points and I appreciate the advice. Ultimately the consumers drive the market and if everyone refuses to pay ridiculous ADMs then the dealers are forced to sell at MSRP...in theory that is. As suggested, I'll get my name on some dealer lists and lie patiently in wait. Sure is frustrating though!:bored

Thanks again!
