Pretty sure he means UP on the GT (although 997TTs depreciate pretty hard). On day 1 of my search last June, I called both Shelby and Marv and asked what a nice 3-5k mile car was going for. They both said $165k. At the time my budget was $150k so I wasn't sure I wanted to stretch it (stupid me).

Now you see ask prices for some 10k cars in the low $190s, and 3-5k cars at $200k. In the Winter no less.

$165?!? I'm hoping where I bought it at will be the new floor, but even if it isn't, I won't lose any sleep over it. Now go out and get one!

You need to meet some of the local SO CAL owners, KJRGT, Kendall nota4re, Ralphie lives in Mammoth but we consider him one of us, AJB, Mid Nite Blu, Woboose, etc. We are planning a SO Cal GT run sometime in the early spring. Camaraderie is most excellent, and the crowd attraction of the GTs amazing.
