FGT Rally V - Registration!

my experience with PayPal is less than satisfactory. I didn't get any type of confirmation that I had successfully completed the payment process or the registration process. I was just sent back to the page that says Transaction Results with the grey button saying "Make Payment".

If you did not click the final "Make Payment" when it redirected you back to the Rally site, then the payment did not go through. DBK and I will both check to see if yours went through.

Sorry guys - this integration with PayPal's API has been a learning experience for us. I'm going to rewrite the instructions on the Registration page to be more clear about the entire process.

Done....can't wait

Done! even beat Franky:thumbsup

Done!

OK

tried to register without using the bloody-awful paypal system. Wouldn't let me, plus kept turning my e-mail address into a .con insteaad of a .com and no matter how often I corrected it, it kept doing it and then flashed it up in red for correction!

Think I'll send a check instead. I've already booked the hotel no problem

I've registered my wife and I, but as normal my experience with PayPal is less than satisfactory. I didn't get any type of confirmation that I had successfully completed the payment process or the registration process. I was just sent back to the page that says Transaction Results with the grey button saying "Make Payment".

DBK - Plesas advise if my registration didn't go through and I will try again.

Thanks,
Magic

Just tried again and it seems my registration has gone through this time so echeck should be on it's way.

The Ford GT rallies are like women .
They are all different and special !!

Dave - thanks....we will be sending you a check in the mail tomorrow for Margaret and I.

Dave:

Please add me to the list--just received PayPal confirmation. (backed out of Viper Utah event)

I am 2 hrs on the other side of the track, so I will be staying at the track Lodge (wish I could join everyone at Umstead--but makes no sense for me) I don't know if anyone else here is from Va., but if anyone needs help or has questions, feel free to contact me. Also the guy who runs VIR is a friend and is a lawyer who used to work at my firm. September is a gorgeous time of year in Virginia/Carolina. (as opposed to now when it is 102 degrees)

Wow that might be a big help as we are looking for a place to park the trailers and in case of storms where to park the cars as well.
I can park mine in the trailer and drive the truck but I know some of th eothers were working on some tent ideas.
Chip or Dave might chime in but that is very cool to have someone local to tap for ideas

Very cool find Ed

Thank you for sharing as I suspect as we get closer to the gathering that the excitement is building; it looks to be a wonderful facility.

All the best

First post updated. We are now up to 33 Ford GT's registered. Would be really cool to at least double that. Had 94 registrations for Texas and 126 for Vegas. Come on east coasters! We can do it! :banana

Mine's coming next weekend. Did you set a deadline to end registration? If I remember right, the hotel filled up right away.

I sure hope it is Frank. Who would provide the dirty jokes without you?

I'll speak with the hotel tomorrow, but yes, it is fairly full already. Last time I saw, about 60 of the 75 rooms were spoken for, and if you haven't booked in the next two weeks, those rooms will go back out into the general pool and will likely disappear immediately.

We've got 10 or more coming from the Rally to the Rally. I didn't check the list, but the usual suspects are in as far as I know.

Seems like we're short on CA and TX registrants so far. As far as dirty jokes, I'm sure my "good" friends wouldn't say anything behind my back.

Come on west coasters !!! East and mid too !!!
Lets keep the passion going!!!
You know how much fun rallies are .
We need your support !!!!
