How many miles were put on the Ford tested cars?

We (McGowan, Ahlman and White) put 12 miles on the first 50 cars on a very specific route at Michigan Proving Grounds. Included slalom, straight line accel and braking on the big "black lake" and then ~10 mile ride route for ride, steering, wind noise and squeaks and rattles. We put a test set of wheels and tires on each car for this work and still no burn outs. Driven hard but no beating. Reliable transported them to and from the plant.

Well, I got the 50 part right. Scott! Buddy, hope you're well. As I scramble around this morning getting the kids up early on a Saturday, I yearn for some Jack and a La Bamba burrito. Lol.

All good Ed! I am always amazed by the facts that you owners know and memory of them...plus McGown may have messed the info up...after that shot I gave him! LOL
