Anyone use a vbox to record 60-130 times in the GT's? Interested to see how they run from stock to modified to TT and beyond...

are you starting your runs in 2nd gear, so you only shift once to do the run?

1st gear start and launch like a 1/4 run. at the end of first the tires will spin around 40-45 mph, shft then and let the motor take care of the rest. 3rd gear will gte you past 130 mph (I get to about 145 in 3rd in mine).

The 7.11 was rolling in 2nd from probably 45 mph. It took quite a few of attempts to get it that low. Only tried it a couple times with the turbos.

yea, eliminating a shift helps lower the times.... I start in 3rd in the Gallardo and end in 4th.... 5.49 was the best with my bolt-on kit... stock motor...

With a straight TT setup on the GT you're better off starting in first and powershifting it. Even that tiny little gap between shifts loses enough boost to slow the 60-130 down a bunch. This is why Javo drove 4.55 powershifting and I came up with 5.4 rolling off in second. Too chicken to powershift 1-2 on the freeway with 900 hp. 60 mph in second just isn't turning enough RPM to haul ass right away in 2nd with the turbos. No question with the SC starting in second is the way to go. I tried it many times both ways.

You can, I did not. It's worth mentioning I did that on Goodyears. At some point this year I'll try on Bridgestones.

best way is to launch like a 1/4 mile run and shift into second around 50 mph.

did a few runs, best 60-130 was 6.69, car was hot and I'm still learning the shifting, it will go quicker, this is starting in 2nd gear at 50 MPH..... starting in first gets about 6.9....

Like DBK said my car did 4.55 powershifting... launching like mullet said fairly aggressively and keeping the foot to the floor between shifts... the heffner TT kits LOVE to be powershifted and make it feel like a different car with no lag or drop in boost at all... that was on 93 pump gas as well...
