At my dealership. We’re doing a small collision repair on a new Lightning. The owner jackknifed the trailer backing up.

Soon we will be more like electricians than mechanics.

Wow, that is impressive.

thanks for posting

Henry must be turning over in his grave!

Interesting to see, thanks.

Don't they have trailer back up assist?

That seems like some major work for a little jackknife while backing up. Was he racing in reverse?
Some vehicles are packing 800 volts. Now that can do some bodily damage.

Apparently, it’s easier to lift the bed to repair it than to do bodywork in place. Or they’re just replacing the bed instead of repairing it.

Or they wanted to see the guts of the new Lightning.

Its all aluminum right? I thought ford replaced panels even thought a Alloy doctor can work them back into shape. There is a video of David Kirkham repairing a cobra body that shows the art.

Our new Lightning arrives in two weeks. Think we’ll pick it up in the GT. I don’t care what it runs on, if it’s a vehicle that’s fun to me. Excluding Prius of course!
