Congrats. It's a GREAT fuel option. Higher octane, cooling of the combustion mixture, and available at the pump at moderate prices.
Downside is you need to test it every time you fill.
is it more of a problem if there is higher alcohol content, or lower?I bought a testing kit off of Amazon for about 15 bucks, it is very easy to use.
We have a local station with e100...Always make sure you tune with E85 the first time you tune... If it goes to e70 or e75 the car will run a little rich and It does not effect power that much on a supercharged or turbo car! If you tune with e70 and put e85 in it there will be a major lean condition.. You will never find anything higher than e85 at the pump and if you did it could maybe only be 1 or 2 points higher which would be no big deal! I have made 1272 rwhp with no detonation on e70 winter blend in my GT before. Also i make 1500rwhp in my GT and have been running the fuel for 4 years now! I have been using the fuel for 10 years next year! It is an amazing fuel for as much as everyone dislikes it for the high performance automotive world!!

I believe lower e content will run richer but also has lower octane...?
Yes you are correct! E50 will support 900rwhp.. Also you must not be in the us as only way to get e100 is from a ethonal plant threw some paper work or back door activity as you can drink it.. e98 is how it leaves to the gas blenders from the ethonal plant!!

E95. I used to get this in Maryland. Made limoncello. Yum!
