I see he has a ride along helping him learn the circuit, what did he do so bad? Couldn't find anything really wrong?

I can understand starting into the apex slow, I would if I was new to a course but my exit would be a whole better.

When I did Bondurant, I had a ride along to get familiarized with the course, but my teacher hammered me for slow exits.

He could have gone a LOT faster! He was putting along down most of the straight aways!

Well, I am jealous, I am sitting in front of my 'puter and that guy was in his GT diving on the new circuit of LeMans. I am a wannabe, I would love to have you guys criticize my driving on the circuit. I would probably pull over on the Muslane and have a picnic lunch...:banana

There's a difference between a car being able to go faster and an individual being able to go faster.

Maybe the driver in these clips is just driving within his limits which is ALWAYS a good thing.

The engine sure puts out a nice grunt(audio) indicative of some nice tourque.

Maybe Dick was cruising on the Mulsanne because he was looking for the spot where Dan Gurney pulled off in his MK IV during the '67 race. (Due to Mike Parkes flashing his headlights in his rearview mirror.)

...and Dick can also tell his wife, "Honey, the speedo never got over 20 miles per hour..."

Like others, I would love to attend this race... Driving the track would be something else..

Neilda and I actually did this last summer as guests of Roush. Eleven of the UK GT owners traveled to Le Mans for the Le Mans Classic race. On the Saturday we drove our cars on a parade lap around the track during which Neil got carried away and started passing everyone in sight! If memory serves I believe Neil got his car up to 150 mph on one of the straights! He was an animal!
