I'd like to reiterate my earlier question: Is it feasible to pull the fuse on the ABS system before going on a track?

I've done that on older cars and the brake system operated like a non-ABS system. Definitely helps when you're sliding backwards (as others have mentioned) and want to have some braking action instead of just free-wheeling.

Thoughts? Experiences?

My guess is it will stop abs from functioning, it would be much better to take car to a skid pad of sorts to do some testing. Feel how car responds. I installed a Whipple and really just drove in mid temperature weather for the first time, before I could easily do wide open with zero issues, car has Bridgestone tires, with Whipple it just seems to light up tires. I would like to get to a area, skid pad to see how car reacts to wheel spin, drift, slid ECT... Prior to street testing.
