Wow, at least they have instructions now. When I put in my system 5 years ago, there were no instructions, just a choice of bracket.

Yea but you're a really smart guy so I didn't matter... who loves ya Frank !! :bored

I purchased one of these halon systems from CoolTech when I ordered my transmission cooler. At the time I was unaware of Bill's hard-line system which I likely would have preferred but both perform identical functions. Turns out that Bill did the install, along with the cooler and a number of other items. Some time later (probably 18 months or so) I noticed that the pressure in the halon tank had dropped significantly.
After exchanging email with the SafeCraft folks, my 19 years old son and I headed to the SafeCraft facility where we were treated to a full tour, a detailed analysis of the system, and were reveled in stories of racing, aviation and fire safety systems. We couldn't have had a better time nor could we have realized a more positive customer experience. Turns out that it was a very small burr in the neck of the bottle. It took much 'sniffing' and magnified examination that found the problem. So, a new bottle, a fresh load of halon and pressurization agent, a careful install with significant testing and off we went. Oh, (being a safety geek) not before purchasing a SafeCraft extinguisher for the passenger compartment too!

OK, so I have installed my Safecraft system, and now I do have a leak somewhere. Soapy water trick is not working. My gauge reads down to 100lbs.
I am confident that when installed it was 200+. Anyone have any idea of what the full bottle should read?
