As I am looking for either a red or white Ford GT, I have noticed that people are calling their red cars by different names. Did they have different names for the 2 years? Did they change the tint or names through the year they were made?

Just curious but, why didn't Ford use Wimbledon White for the white cars?

No all reds are the same from 05-06. "Mark IV Red Clearcoat".

My opinion, Wimbledon white is softer acquired taste. Does not have the "pop" that centennial pure white does. While I think its prefect on 6x's cars, the 50th anniv mustang the car looks "soft"

Multimatic's NGT with the triple highland green stripe does work however.

Centennial white is definitely brighter. Placing my O5 Centenial White GT next to my Shelby with Wimbledon white stripes revealed quite a contrast.

Maybe Tim will sell you his white one that he never drives!
Rumor has it he has an AMC Gremlin for sale too!

The red looks amazing with no stripes. Like a Miura!
The white looks great either way.

138 miles on the clock and no sale at $275K. Looks pretty pedestrian/boring to me.

That MM NGT Green with W White is so good.
