All,
I recently had the pleasure to do some modifications and routine maintenance to Don's (aka DGCA) GT's. Some of you may have seen the blurb in July's Road & Track with Don's Blue/White stripe car achieving 235.4 from a standing start on a 2 mile runway in Central California. What an unbelievable accomplishment! As part of the quid pro quo for using the runway, many additional runs into triple digits were made with Navy personnel wanting to simulate the next best thing to carrier launches!
Well, when Don isn't having fun with the Hennesey TT, he always has his ultra-low-mile Darth Vader mobile to run to the grocery store with! With Don's permission, I thought I would share some pictures of the later car.
This next pic is a close-up of the newly installed RBD kit with the Borla exhaust and tips. This car is DEFINITELY a lot quieter than the TT car!
This next pic is what ~3,000HP looks like. Figure ~650HP each for the pullied' Vader mobile and my Tungsten. ~1,000HP for the covered TT. 400HP for the Denali, and ~350HP for the AWD Subi. Screw gas prices!!
Finally, here's a couple of pics of Kip's latest works of art!! complete CF door panels. Again, the pictures hardly do the panels justice. All of the edges of Kip's panels are rolled and the quality is second to none just as we have come to expect from anything Kip touches!
