I spent many years working with NASCAR drivers . I will not say it is fixed, but it can easily be "manipulated". If I had to bet my GTs , I would say this is one of those times. The easiest places to manipulate are Daytona and Dega where all the driver does is stay in the gas.

All I can say is that Danica Patrick clearly has talent behind the wheel of a car, much more so than 99.9% of her critics, and she also once criticized the Viper because it "didn't have that bottom end torque." Cannot compute.
