Figured I would celebrate the record I set in October and make a few tshirts.

The 225mph club shirt is not something I made, it is a new shirt they will be selling if you can reach that speed.

Oh no!

Gentlemen,

Please stop posting photos of really cool $50,000 T-Shirts. :willy

You are destroying me financially! :ack

I am not mature enough to resist the urge to acquire such a fine addition to my wardrobe.

Speed costs money....How fast do you want to go?

Mullet, I like your shirts.:thumbsup

I assume one's car would have to leave the garage to "reach that speed" then, huh. :bored :frown

(...unless one has a seriously L-O-N-G garage...)

If you can reach that speed - THEY OUGHTA GIVE YA the darn shirt!!! :willy:lol

Not yet.

Jeff,

I don't have to write the check till tomorrow. If all goes well tonight my twin turbo yellow GT will come to life for the first time tomorrow morning. :banana

I have been here all week watching the build and if your a gearhead at all, this is a blast. Jason's entire team are highly skilled artists. Several other cool mods have been performed on my GT this week as well. I'll start a new thread with photos when I get home on Monday. All the best.

I beg to differ. I think soroush's FGT will give any TT a run for its money and it only has a little old Whipple. No one would get it confused with a golf cart. :biggrin

Ice,

Soroush's black GT has something far beyond a Whipple. Just this morning Jason and I were talking about his run at the Texas Mile during Rally IV. I had a great vantage point at the 1/2 mile point and I was blown away by the sound, fury, & speed of his pass. Far more important than his Whipple was the passon and dedication he put into building that engine. Late nights, lots of research and planning, busted knuckles, overcoming frustration, and a ton of hard work integrating his nitros (150 shot).

Getting it all together in time for R4 was victory #1. Having the balls to stay on that button the whole mile and nailing down a 117+ pass was victory #2. The personal satisfaction of having built that incredable motor himself was victory #3.

Passon is one of the most important components when it comes to speed and is also one of the reasons that FGT Forum members are so much fun to hang out with. When Peak, Mullet, Soroush, and other members lay down a new benchmark, it brings vicarious joy to the whole Forum.
