Custom Ford GT Livery

Wanted to share with everyone some thinking I’ve been doing on a custom livery for the Ford GT.

I really love the look of a racing livery on the Ford GT, just looks right to me. In my perfect world I’ll be able to get a 2018 Heritage edition from Ford. But I’m also trying to figure out options if I can’t get something OEM from Ford.

I’ve been working with the designer Marco van Overbeeke, over the last couple of months, figuring out livery options. Really excited on how they turned out. Take a look:






What do you guys think? Favorites?

Would also love to get any input on getting a custom paint job versus applying vinyl decals. I like the idea of a custom paint job but it will take some courage for me to make such a permanent change.

Marco has been a great designer to work with on all of this, and I think the final designs above speak for themselves. He did a great job of bringing my requests into reality and super patient iterating through many rounds of tweaks/changes. Good guy.

I'm an idiot when it comes to photoshop etc. I'm looking for a simple rendering of a custom solid color. No stripes, numbers, etc. Probably overkill to ask Marco to do this. Any advice appreciated.

The color combos remind me a little of camilos special editions he's made in the past. I like gulf best, the blue/white second.

Wish I knew! I haven’t even heard definitive information that there will be more. Fingers crossed.
