Hi everyone, thanks for all the kind words. Yes, 500 is a big number and it surprised me when I was counting up the other week. Every delivery is uniquely different and always enjoyable.
The GT is such a special car within the car community I feel very humbled to have a small part in it. I know my GT Delivery Specialist colleagues Bernardo and Claude work as hard and feel the same way I do about how special the GT and program is.
As a car guys, all of us Delivery Specialists want to pass on as much info as possible to the owner so they can use and look after the GT with as much care and attention as the guys that designed the car intended. The GT ordering and ownership experience would not have been possible without the whole GT Concierge team and service dealer network working hard behind the scenes to make the car happen.
Cars like the GT only come around every 10-20 years that really push the envelope of what a car is or what a car should be. Obviously time will tell what history makes of the GT, but personally I would put the GT in the same arena as the Lamborghini Miura and McLaren F1 as cars that have moved the automotive needle.
5 years into the program and this is my first post on here, yes I monitor the chat, but for needing to stay impartial reasons I have not had a account and will probably keep my future postings limited, but seeing so many nice comments I had to respond. We are not done yet, still a hundred+ GT's to deliver and we are looking forward to meeting more new owners.
Drive and enjoy your GT,
Steve Coates
