Thanks again for a wonderful night Chip. The new GT is a showstopper. Kate and I thouroughly enjoyed ourselves and met some fabulous people. That hippo picture is priceless, I couldn't stop looking at that beast!

My son Charley killed that Hippopotamus after a charge on dry land that took him within 10 feet of my then 15 year old son. He stood with both feet planted and fired straight into the charging hippo’s face right next to our PH as I tried furiously to bust through the brush between me and the war on the other side. It all worked out but it could have gone very bad. Earnest Hemingway said that Africa was the most exciting place to hunt because it's the only place where the game runs both ways. Everywhere else, it always runs away.
